Hotel Belvidere

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hotel Belvidere. The owners were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Due to bad weather we arrived very late, but they stayed up to allow us to check in, which meant a lot after a long and stressful travel day. When we arrived the power was out, but it was restored quickly and everything was up and running again in no time. Even with the circumstances, the owners remained incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. Their hospitality truly stood out and made the stay memorable. It is rare to find people who care that much about their guests. I would definitely recommend Hotel Belvidere to anyone looking for a place where you are treated with genuine kindness and excellent service. They even gave us home made muffins!!

The rooms were very clean and spacious. Very good water pressure for showers. Continental breakfast was very good with a variety of cereal and oatmeal, coffee and other breads and sweets. Our room was cold ( 25 degrees outside), but the person manning the front desk brought up a small space heater that made the room cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

Having never been in this part of New Jersey, I was unsure what to expect in terms of location and accommodations. I was very pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed my overnight stay! Jennifer and staff went absolutely out of their way to accommodate my late check-in, to ensure that the incredible continental breakfast was served in a timely fashion, and that my stay was comfortable. My room was lovely – neat, clean, lots of great samples to use in the shower – and a perfect location. The area itself is quiet and easily walkable to a couple local bars. I highly recommend staying here!

Lovely hotel, friendly service, reasonably priced. There are stairs - no elevator - to be aware of if you have heavy luggage or are towing children. However, the wonderful owner helped carry all of them (including the kid) up the stairs!

This hotel is very unique. Absolutely amazing structure. Interior has been maintained or upgraded nicely. The holiday decor added to the fun experience. There were top notch details like bathroom toiletries and specialized breakfast items for different dietary needs. The staff was helpful, friendly and a offered personal attention you don't receive in chain hotels. Excellent value.

I booked after reading other reviews and they were right! The hotel had so many personal touches, the room, breakfast, especially around the holidays. The best part was Jennifer who was so welcoming as I was driving a long distance and not sure what time I would arrive. She kept in touch about the weather and assured me I didn't need to worry about checking in. Another guest arrived at the same time as I did and she knew our names as she was waiting for us and was happy we made it. You don't get this kind of service at chain hotels!

Jennifer accommodated me as a walk in. I was in the area for a wedding and decided last minute to get a room. She was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Would absolutely go back just to stay there and walk the town. Wish I had more time to explore

I flew up for a couple days to attend a funeral. Jen, the hotel manager, was so kind and very accommodating. We needed a downstairs suite due to my handicap mother, where Jen was able to place us with no problems. The hotel itself has so much charm. With all of its Christmas decor, It felt like a Bed & Breakfast straight out if a Hallmark Movie. Overall, this hotel offers true hometown hospitality. It was cozy, clean, and comfortable. I will be staying here again and I highly recommend it to others.
